(Masters/Doctoral Courses)
1. Application Deadline: Sep. 1 ~ Dec. 10
2. Notification of Acceptance: End of December
3. Eligibility
(1) Masters Courses
● Foreigners whose parents are foreigners and who have or expect to have a bachelor degree [Type A], OR
● Foreigners who have completed or expect to complete the entire education in foreign countries that matches the high academic levels of the Korean education system from elementary school to university. This further applies to foreign applicants who have achieved or who are expected to achieve a degree from an university in foreign countries [Type B]
(2) Doctoral Courses
● [Type A] Foreigners whose parents are foreigners and who have or expect to have a bachelor and masters' degree, OR
● [Type B] Foreigners who have completed or expect to complete their entire education in foreign countries, which provide an academic curriculum similar in standard to the Korean education system from elementary school to university, that would mean they achieved or expect to achieve bachelor and masters' degree at an university in foreign countries
4. Required Documents
(1) Type A
● Application (2 photos)
● Transcript of Graduation for entire education from elementary to High school (transcripts from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended)
● Certificate of Graduation(or expected) for High School (certificates from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended
● Certificate of Nationality (copy of passport or copy of alien registration card etc.)
● Certificate of relationship with parents (or document equivalent to family registration)
● Personal Statement and Study Plan in Korean
● Certificate of TOPIK issued by Korean Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation
● Documents providing financial capability (Statement of bank balance : $10,000 in US dollars or the equivalent amount deposited more than 3 months)
● Certificate of Employment (or taxation) for financial sponsor
● Reference letter from professor at home university
● Reference letter from advisory professor at PKNU
● Pledge
(2) Type B
● Application (2 photos)
● Certificate of Graduation for entire education from elementary to High school (certificates from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended)
● Transcript of Graduation for entire education from elementary to High school (transcripts from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended)
● Certificate of Nationality (copy of passport or copy of alien registration card etc.)
