TRANSFER STUDENTS
1. Schedule
● Application Deadline (Online application only): Jan. 10, 2011 ~ Jan. 12, 2011 (by 16:00)
● Submission of Documents (by post mail or in person): Jan. 19, 2011 (by 18:00)
● Final Notification of Acceptance: Feb. 9, 2011
2. Eligibility
● Those whose parents are both foreigners [Type A], OR those who have completed the entire education from elementary to high school in a foreign country [Type B]
● Students should have completed at least 2 years and achieved 70 credit points at a 4-year university in Korea or overseas or graduate (or expected) 2-year college.
● Students should hold certificate of TOPIK level 3 or above.
● If students graduated more than 2 universities(colleges), they should summit both academic transcripts.
3. Require Documents
(1) Type A
● Application (2 photos)
● Transcript of Graduation for entire education from elementary to High school (transcript from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended)
● Certificate of Graduation(or expected) for High School (certificates from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended
● Certificate of Nationality (copy of passport or copy of alien registration card etc.)
● Certificate of relationship with parents (or document equivalent to family registration)
● Personal Statement and Study Plan in Korean
● Certificate of TOPIK issued by Korean Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation
● Documents providing financial capability (Statement of bank balance : $10,000 in US dollars or the equivalent amount deposited more than 3 months)
● Certificate of Employment (or taxation) for financial sponsor
(2) Type B
● Application (2 photos)
● Certificate of Graduation for entire education from elementary to High school (certificates from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended)
● Transcript of Graduation for entire education from elementary to High school (transcripts from undergraduate and graduate courses if you attended)
● Certificate of Nationality (copy of passport or copy of alien registration card etc.)
● Personal Statement and Study Plan in Korean
● Certificate of TOPIK issued by Korean Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation
● Documents providing financial capability (Statement of bank balance : $10,000 in US dollars or the equivalent amount deposited more than 3 months)
